Catalog description

Introduction to principles and applications of biomedical imaging and instrumentation. Imaging topics include X-ray radiography, CT, ultrasound, MRI, PET, SPECT, and microscopy techniques across cellular to whole-body scales. Instrumentation topics cover molecular sensors, device miniaturization, electrical, optical, and mechanical transducers, microarrays, nanosensors, microfluidic systems, and MEMS/BioMEMS fabrication. PreReq: EG2323 or EG 2321 .
