Catalog description

This course introduces students to the diverse fields of biomedical engineering, including design, manufacturing, power, thermofluids, robotics, mechatronics, and biomechanics. It also provides hands-on training with essential workshop equipment, covering fundamental manufacturing processes such as casting, welding, metal cutting, and metal forming. Students will design and construct mechanical components, gaining practical skills in operating various machines and understanding their applications in engineering. PreReq: None.
