This course focuses on the theoretical foundations that inform the development of curriculum and the social, cultural, and psychological factors that affect the academic performance of students, as related to theories associated with curriculum development and the teaching/ learning process. Attention is given to English learners and special needs students. Various methods for evaluating effective curricula are also examined.
