Catalog description

In this course, students will acquire and develop basic pedagogical skills that will prepare them to teach the content area which they are pursuing teacher certification. Focus is on the following: Designing instruction and assessment to promote student learning, creating a positive, productive classroom environment, implementing effective, responsive instruction and assessment, and fulfilling professional roles and responsibilities.
