This capstone course brings together the various essential knowledge and skills of the Social Science: History, Political Science, Economics, and Geography, for the prospective elementary educator. The key components of social studies (as designed by the Texas State Board of Educator Certification) are focused upon. Methods of application to the classroom are highlighted. Field experience required.
