Catalog description

This course will review research, theories, and interventions used in the assessment and treatment of different types of addictions including, but not limited to, substance-abuse and gambling. It builds upon introductory psychology courses and lays a foundation for those students who may be interested in working with populations influenced by addiction. Biopsychological as well as behavioral addictions will be covered.
