Catalog description

This course provides an overview of the legal profession, legal educaiton, and foundational legal skills. The course introduces students to the structure and function of legal institutions, the role of law in society, and major areas of legal practice. Students develop basic competencies in legal reasoning, case analysis, and legal research, while also gaining an understanding of law school expectations, the admissions process, and career pathways in law and related fields.
