Catalog description

This course is designed for liberal arts majors who need to fulfill their math and general education requirements. The course provides corequisite support component, offering additional instructional time and resources to ensure student success. Topics covered include an introduction to set theory, review of algebra skills and percentages, growth models, financial mathematics, probability and statistics. The goals of this course is to help students strengthen their problem solving and critical thinking skills.
