Catalog description

This course introduces foundational knowledge on curriculum development, instructional methods, and multi-tiered systems of academic support for effectively teaching students with disabilities in inclusive settings. Through interactive, collaborative, and multimedia platforms, course participants examines a range of research-validated and high-leverage practices for adapting teaching materials across content areas to support the diverse learning needs of students. The course content is inclusive of the grade bands and developmental level requirements for the Students with Disabilities (All Grades) certificate. Field experience required (10 hours).
