Catalog description
A survey of the principal groups of microorganisms (bacteria, fungi, algae, protozoa, viruses, and rickettsiae) with emphasis on taxonomy, morphology, physiology, and their industrial and medical applications. Includes and intensive study of bacterial, rickettsial, chlamydial, algae, fungal, viral, and protozoan organisms of significance in the propagation of diseases.
