SP TOP:NATURE IN ART:PAINTING, DRAWING, SCULPTURE

Catalog description

Using a variety of mediums such as clay, paint, and natural materials, students will explore the concept of art and nature as a tool for healing. Both contemporary and historical artworks influenced by the natural environment, botany, weather, geology, fossils, growth, decay, the life within those spaces, and the artists that created them will be presented and discussed throughout the course. Classes will be held both in the classroom and outdoors when the weather permits.
