This course examines Spanish and Latin American cinema through the lens of intersectionality, exploring how themes of sex, drugs, and music are used to interrogate identity, power, and resistance. Students analyze films in their cultural and historical contexts while engaging with issues such as migration, gender-based violence, dictatorship, and social protest. The course will be offered in English.
