Catalog description

A short course that emphasizes the role of interprofessional education (IPE) in healthcare that translates intro better practices for public health. One course focus will be onthe IPE Collaborative Core Competencies and how these are defined and applied in today's health care settings. The other focus of this course will be engagement in professional development to maintain proficiency and the promotion of the health education profession to stakeholders and the public. Public Health professionals are an integral part of the IPE team when adopting these interprofessional education and professionalism practices for population health programming and implementation.
