Catalog description
This course examines applied human anatomy, kinesiology, and biomechanics as they relate to occupational engagement across the lifespan. Students develop a detailed understanding of joint structure and function, muscle performance, and movement analysis as foundational components of occupational therapy practice. Through complementary lecture and laboratory experiences, students build hands-on skills in palpation, goniometry, manual muscle testing, and biomechanical assessment of functional movement.
