TRANSITIONS IN CARE WITH CLINICAL

Catalog description

Adults who suffer from a variety of health conditions often need health care services in various settings to meet their many needs and thus transitions in care will provide a firm foundation in this unique patient-centered process. In class, students will discuss both inpatient and outpatient nursing roles and the varied opportunities Registered Nurses (RNs) have to support patients during this transition. Clinical experiences are also a requirement of this course to allow for students to work hands-on with outpatient providers and coordinators to care for diverse populations.
