COMMUNITY HEALTH WITH CLINICAL

Catalog description

Community health will allow students to gain an understanding of outpatient nursing opportunities currently and trending for the future. Students will spend time with nursing faculty for traditional and distance education lectures and activities as well as work with community health nurses to learn their role in providing care to diverse populations. Projects and assignments will focus on diverse populations that have been historically disenfranchised or socially marginalized locally and globally to provide students with a firm foundation in caring for these populations.
