Catalog description
This course extends the basic theories of informational design and operation techniques in a data use and an accounting reporting context. Accounting systems should be designed to provide useful and timely information. Further, the data generating this information should be free of errors, free of fraud and secure. A total systems approach is be used in the course; that is, integration of AIS within a variety of data environments, such as data base and data analysis.
