HEALTH PROFESSIONS CAPSTONE

Catalog description

This capstone course enables Health Science and Public Health majors to apply their cumulative learning through an independent research project, including IRB submission, data collection, and dissemination. Students will also develop a professional portfolio, deliver a community-based presentation, and design an intervention addressing a local health disparity. This course emphasizes research, critical thinking, communication, and best practices in preparation for graduate study or professional work.
