Catalog description

This course introduces students to human development processes and the nature of learning throughout the developmental years. The study of development includes physical and biological systems, individual cognitive and affective processes and sociocultural models and influences. The nature of learning encompasses theories of learning and classroom application. The course provides an orientation and background for sound educational practice.
