ORGANIC CHEM II LAB

Catalog description

Four hours of laboratory a week. A continuation of Organic Chemistry I. Synthetic experiments conducted in the laboratory will correlated closely with topics in Chemistry 302. Modern instrumental methods, which include but are not limited to Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR), Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS), and other methods will be utilized in the laboratory experiments. Chemical usage, chemical safety, and proper personal protective equipment skills in a laboratory setting will be taught/expected.
