An overview of the elements of business which exposes students to the major disciplines within business such as accounting, finance, marketing, production/operations, and human resources/ Topics treated include the role of business in society, economics, globalization, techonology, law as it affects business, trends in management practices, and leadership. This class will provide a framework for all other coursework in the school of business.
