Aphasia Cruise Practicum

Graduate students in the MS-SLP program at USAHS will attend the Aphasia Recovery Connection (ARC) Aphasia Conference at Sea. Students will gain clinical skills and experience working with families with aphasia using the Life Participation Approach to therapy while aboard a 7-night cruise. Students will earn ~30-40 clinical hours while representing USAHS on an international platform. This course is offered as a hybrid course with online and in-person components. Offered: SLP 5220 Prerequisite(s): Successfully complete SLP 5220 SLP 5220 - Adult Neurogenic Disorders , hold good academic standing status, and complete an application. The instructor or student may seek an exception to the prerequisites with permission from their associate program director.
