Catalog description

This online course focuses on the examination and treatment of patients with craniofacial pain and temporomandibular disorders that are managed with dental appliances and surgical interventions. It covers oral/maxillofacial surgery and orthognathic surgery, as well as interventions for internal temporomandibular derangement. Preoperative and postoperative treatments are discussed with emphasis on clinical decision making based on the current literature. Prerequisite(s): PHT 7333 Advanced Craniofacial (CF3); completion of all the University’s craniofacial seminars
