Catalog description

This course focuses on theory and decision-making for the application of physical, mechanical, and electrical modalities using contemporary evidence. Emphasis is placed on the considerations for appropriate and safe use of biophysical agents in physical therapy practice. Electromyographic and nerve conduction velocity testing are introduced. Offered: Subterm D Prerequisite(s): Residential PHT 5151 , PHT 5156 , PHT 5161 , PHT 5162C , PHT 5166C ; Flex PHT 5222C , PHT 5244 , PHT 5247 , PHT 5262 , PHT 5341C , PHT 5364C Students must successfully complete the courses in the previous term and subterm of the DPT program.
