Catalog description

This course provides foundational knowledge of critical thinking, problem solving, and clinical reasoning. The International Classification of Functioning, Disability, and Health (ICF) model is utilized as the framework for decision making within physical therapy scenarios. Communication strategies that enhance critical thinking and clinical reasoning and promote effective therapeutic alliance are presented/addressed. Offered: Subterm D Prerequisite(s): Residential PHT 5151 , PHT 5156 , PHT 5161 , PHT 5162C , PHT 5166C ; Flex PHT 5139 , PHT 5159 , PHT 5162C , PHT 5164C Students must successfully complete all courses in the previous term and subterm of the DPT program.
