Catalog description

This course expands on foundational nursing education to enhance nursing expertise in pathophysiology, health assessment, and non-prescriptive pharmacology throughout the lifespan. Emphasizing the specialized knowledge and skills essential for the non-NP advanced practice nurse, this curriculum integrates pathophysiological concepts, physical assessment techniques, and pharmacology principles. Students explore application of these principles to become proficient in the provision of safe and quality care for patient populations across the lifespan and cross-culture presenting with routine medical conditions. Prerequisite(s): IPE 7001
