Catalog description

This course introduces students to the myriad of ethical and legal implications of health care administration, particularly regarding the legal rights of patients as they interact within an increasingly complex healthcare system. The course specifically focuses on patients’ rights, healthcare access, ethical best practices, and affordability. In addition, students will discover the multifaceted implications impacting healthcare professionals in providing ethically-sound and quality-driven healthcare services in an ever-changing legal and regulatory environment. Prerequisite(s): IPE 7001
