Catalog description

This course will provide a unique opportunity for participants to explore or create leadership opportunities within nursing education programs. Learners will consider a variety of leadership theories and practices to formulate a leadership philosophy, identify personal strengths and areas for improvement, and develop a plan for professional growth and career advancement. Skills acquired in the course will equip aspiring leaders with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to promote the profession of nursing, advance the future of nursing education, and empower prospective graduates of nursing programs. Prerequisite(s): IPE 7001 , EDF 7050
