Introduction to Nursing Practice

Catalog description

This course examines the various roles in nursing practice, introduces the students to providing/managing care responsibilities, client safety, patient advocacy, interventions, the nursing process, nursing theory as a basis for practice, nurse as a collaborator and leader, and evidence - based practice. Students will obtain an understanding of ethical and legal considerations for nursing practice. Semester 2
