Catalog description

This course is an introduction to social work research. Assignments and discussions incorporate concepts of anti-racism, diversity, equity and inclusion in the conduct of research. Basic concepts to be covered include the scientific method, NASW Code of Ethics, variables and measures, group research designs, and sampling. Also included is an introduction to descriptive and inferential statistics.
