Seminar I

Catalog description

This course is taken in conjunction with Practicum, which is the link between knowledge gained in the classroom and the practice of social work from a foundational perspective. The Seminar meets weekly, and integrates theory, research, policy, and practice into the social work profession. There is an emphasis on professional development, engagement, assessment, intervention planning, interviewing skills, and professional values and ethics.
