Introduction to Outdoor Leadership

Catalog description

This course includes a detailed examination of the meaning, scope, and value of outdoor leadership. Emphasis is given to the historical and philosophical foundations of outdoor leadership, the direct application to instructional procedures for providing leadership for outdoor education/recreation, and the planning and administration of such programs. This course utilizes practical and lab exercises.
