Catalog description

This class is a study of the relationship between gendered identities and the practice of religion in the contemporary U.S. This course is framed around three questions: How and why do gendered identities affect religious identities? How does gender inform religious traditions? How have gendered religious experiences and narratives shaped and been shaped by American culture?
