Imagery and Hypnosis

Catalog description

This course will examine the historical development, theories, techniques, and research in the application of imagery and clinical hypnosis. Basic skills will be taught for the utilization of hypnosis for self use, as well as in assisting others. Various hypnotic change techniques will also be presented. The material in this course will be presented within the context of a brief therapy model, so participants will gain an understanding of how to apply these change techniques within a human helping relationship.
