Current Issues in Psychology

Catalog description

Each semester one or more sections of this course are offered that each cover a specific current issue and psychology. Topics may include, but are not limited to; positive psychology, psychology of gender, psychology of sport, and careers in psychology. Every topic will be examined in depth regarding the history, theories, current and controversial issues, and the relation of the issue to psychology and other disciplines. This course is repeatable for up to a total of 3 credits.
