Capstone in Adventure Education

Catalog description

This course provides a culminating curricular experience for students enrolled in the M.Ed in Adventure Education. Prior to graduation, during their last semester, students demonstrate their retention of content knowledge required for the program. The capstone requirement is meant to synthesize the scope of knowledge, theory, leadership and development of both hard and soft skills, across of the breadth of the program. Students propose a semester-long project that is unique to the student and their current or anticipated professional experience. Guidance and supervision of the project is provided throughout the process by the course instructor to maximum growth and learning.
