Programmatic Design and Risk Management in Adventure Education

This course explores a multitude of core design principles and learning theories to aid in the development of a strong comprehensive adventure education program. Instructional models and strategies that promote programmatic goal alignment for adventure education experiences create the foundation of this course. Awareness of risk factors and the role risk plays within a program allows for students to gain knowledge and insight into ways to mitigate risk and liability.
