Athletic Administration

Catalog description

This course will provide students with a knowledge of athletic administration concepts and research within the youth, high school and intercollegiate settings. The class covers a range of topics including youth and student-athlete development; leadership; governance and inclusion/equity; management of staff, facilities and athletic events; communications and branding; technology; and, evaluation tools. The knowledge and skills gained through this course will prepare students to work effectively with various sport stakeholders to create empowering sport experiences and environments.
