Catalog description

This course will focus on the challenges leaders face in dealing with individuals and teams in an organization. The role of teams in organizations, the stages of team development, and actions that can support the development of effective teams will be discussed. Interpersonal processes are reviewed with a focus on the roles of power, politics, and conflict in organizations. The effects of organization change on the human will be explored with a focus on healthcare and understanding how and why people react to organizational change. Identifying opportunities for enhancing the effective implementation of change will be discussed.
