Evidence-Based Medicine

Catalog description

This course will cover key principles of evidence-based medicine and performance improvement in PA practice. Research design, methodology, ethics, and critical appraisal of the medical literature will be reviewed. This course will emphasize the application of principles of evidence-based medicine and quality improvement to achieve patient-centered clinical outcomes. Students will develop a proposal of their doctoral project to be carried forward into PAST 708-710 (Scholarly Series).
