This course is the first course of a two-course series that emphasizes the use of current research evidence in healthcare decision-making, an activity known as evidence-based practice. Topics include critical analysis of health-related information, biostatistics, and the application of EBP to healthcare. Additionally, this course will provide an overview of research methods, study design, and the principles of research ethics.
