Occupation, Dysfunction, and Adaptation in Adults III

Catalog description

This is the third in a 5-course sequence that examines occupational function, dysfunction, and adaptation in adults. This course specifically addresses clinical pathology, theory, and practice related to the physical domain of human occupation. Occupation-based models and evidence-based therapeutic techniques and interventions which fall under biomechanical, rehabilitative, and sensorimotor approaches are reviewed and practiced. Emphasis is placed upon understanding the role of occupational therapy for those with various orthopedic, medical, oncological, post-surgical, cardiovascular, and pulmonary conditions.
