Catalog description

Students develop knowledge and skills in observing, evaluating, and describing posture, balance, alignment and movement during performance of functional activities. Students apply principles of kinesiology, biomechanics and motor learning to problems of functional movement. Skills introduced include range of motion, manual muscle testing, transfers, functional ambulation, and taking vital signs.
