Catalog description

This course introduces foundational mathematical concepts through problem-solving techniques. Topics include different number bases and operation algorithms, basic number theory, and algebra. This course, along with MATH 201 (Contemporary Applications of Mathematics), forms the first part of a two-course sequence designed for students seeking licensure to teach in the elementary grades.
