Introduction to Psychopathology

Catalog description

This course offers students a deeper understanding of current issues in adult psychopathology relative to Addiction Studies, including assumptions, theories, etiology, pharmacology, and symptoms. Students in this course also discuss personality disorders, psychological disorders, and co-occurring disorders as they relate to Addictions. Students have an opportunity to gain advanced knowledge of clinical assessment and treatment planning, which allows them to engage in in-depth research related to treatment of various mental health disorders.
