Catalog description

There is a growing interest in ethical leadership, and the ethical, legal, and social aspects of health promotion and community health. This interest has been fueled by the aftermath of various infectious disease outbreaks, an awareness of the need for critical analysis of research, and with the increasing recognition that health issues are inseparable from issues of human rights and social justice, problems of cultural and behavioral change, and environmental issues on a national and global scale. This course is intended to enhance and encourage thoughtful, well informed, and critical discussions of research and ethical issues in the field of health promotion and community health.
