Family and Consumer Health

Catalog description

This course will prepare students to teach family and consumer science (FACS) in the K-12 environment and community settings. FACS topics include, but are not limited to: nutrition, health and wellness, personal and family finances, human/child development, communication, and other topics. Topics covered will be relevant for those working in K-12 education, higher education, community organizations, extension programs, business and industry, government, and health and human services.
