1 section
Catalog description
This course provides students the opportunity to work with and think about children’s and young adult (YA) literature as a tool for teaching and learning, an aesthetic joy, and a means to connect with all youth in PK-12 settings. To achieve these goals, students will locate, read, and apply knowledge from quality literature and research articles; engage in activities in class, online, and in field placements; and reflect on teaching practices individually and collaboratively.
