This introductory course in basic ECE program development, administration, and management provides participants a sound knowledge base that will help them navigate the increasing complexity of the administrative and supervisory demands associated with providing early childhood education services. Participants will acquire skills that align with developing, managing, and evaluating care and education centers for young children. Investigating operational procedures, planning, and social policies are important aspects of the course. Participants also explore the close relationship between effective leadership, dynamic staff supervision, and foundational management practices.
