The focus is on the elements within the classroom that help to create healthy environments conducive to learning and growing. Emphasis is placed on promising practices that promote appreciation for each and every student. We explore the identification of individual, family, school, and community factors, applying developmentally appropriate classroom management approaches, and utilizing holistic practices that is central to the course. The focus of this course is on utilizing the fundamental skills of being observant, applying effective analysis, and making use of a strengths-based approach to classroom management.
